A staylist is a named, themed collection of properties curated by a single creator — a travel blogger, publisher, or tastemaker who knows the places they recommend from personal experience. Think of it less like a filtered search result and more like a recommendation from a friend who has genuinely stayed there. Every staylist has a point of view. A curator doesn’t add a property because it appears in a sponsored placement or because an algorithm surfaced it — they add it because it fits a specific story they’re telling. That intent is what makes staylists different from every other way to find a hotel online.

How staylists are structured

Every staylist contains the same core building blocks:
  • Curator — the creator who built the staylist and whose taste it reflects. You can visit their profile to see everything they’ve curated.
  • Title — a short, descriptive name that captures the theme (e.g., “Coastal getaways,” “Honeymoon hotels”).
  • Properties — the individual stays in the collection, each with its own page showing photos, descriptions, room types, pricing, and availability.
  • Shareable link — every staylist has its own URL that curators can embed in articles, newsletters, Instagram bios, or podcast show notes. When you follow a curator’s recommendation link, you land directly on the staylist they’re referencing.
Curators can add properties from anywhere in the world to the same staylist, so a single collection might span continents while still feeling coherent — because the throughline is taste, not geography.

You can discover staylists in a few ways:
  • Browse the homepage — featured staylists from the Ddriftt team and top curators appear on the front page, updated regularly.
  • Visit curator profiles — every curator has a public profile page listing all of their staylists. If you love one staylist by a creator, their profile is where you’ll find the rest.
  • Follow curator links — many curators share direct staylist links in their newsletters, Substack posts, Instagram bios, YouTube descriptions, and podcast show notes. These links drop you straight into the curated collection they’re discussing.
  • Search — use Ddriftt’s search to find properties by destination, and you’ll see which staylists each property appears in, giving you an immediate pathway to related recommendations.
