Ddriftt runs on a simple, closed loop: a curator discovers a remarkable hotel and adds it to a staylist, a traveler finds that staylist and books the stay, the hotelier receives the reservation through their existing systems, and the curator earns commission — automatically, with no invoicing or negotiation. Every role in the platform feeds the next, creating a distribution channel built on genuine taste rather than paid placement.

The Ddriftt loop

1

Curator curates

A curator — travel blogger, publisher, or creator — builds a staylist by selecting properties that match their aesthetic and editorial point of view. They publish the staylist to their Ddriftt storefront and share it across their existing channels: newsletter, Instagram, Substack, podcast, or website.
2

Traveler discovers

A traveler browsing Ddriftt — or following a link from a curator’s content — lands on a staylist. They explore the curated properties, read descriptions, view photos, and check availability, all without leaving the platform.
3

Traveler books

When the traveler finds a stay they want, they book it directly on Ddriftt. There is no redirect to an OTA or a third-party booking engine. The checkout experience stays inside Ddriftt from start to finish.
4

Hotelier receives

The confirmed reservation flows directly into the hotelier’s existing Property Management System (PMS) via Ddriftt’s integration. The hotelier owns the guest relationship and manages the stay exactly as they would with any direct booking.
5

Curator earns

Once the guest checks in, Ddriftt triggers a payout within 48 hours. The curator receives their commission automatically — no invoices, no chasing payments. Ddriftt retains 30% of the total commission; the curator keeps the rest.

Why no OTA redirects

When you book through a traditional OTA, the hotel loses a significant portion of the booking value to platform fees, the guest relationship belongs to the OTA rather than the hotel, and the original recommendation — from a blogger, a friend, a magazine — receives nothing. Ddriftt is built to fix all three.

Traditional OTA booking

  • Traveler clicks a recommendation and lands on an OTA
  • Hotel pays 15–30% commission to the OTA
  • Guest data belongs to the OTA, not the hotel
  • The creator who made the recommendation earns nothing
  • Checkout is generic, unbranded, and disconnected from the original context

Booking on Ddriftt

  • Traveler books directly inside Ddriftt, no redirect
  • Hotel pays commission only when a booking converts
  • Hotel owns the guest relationship and guest data
  • Curator earns commission automatically at check-in
  • Checkout is seamless and tied to the curator’s staylist
Because Ddriftt integrates with your existing PMS, hoteliers receive bookings in the same system they already use — no new software to learn and no manual entry required.

The commission model

Ddriftt’s commission model is designed to reward genuine curation without adding fixed costs for hoteliers.
  • Hoteliers pay no setup fees and no subscription. They agree on a commission rate with Ddriftt at the time of listing, and that rate applies only to completed bookings.
  • Curators earn a percentage of the booking value for every stay their audience books. The exact rate varies by property and is visible in the curator’s dashboard.
  • Ddriftt retains 30% of the total commission on each booking to operate the platform. The remaining 70% of the commission goes to the curator.
  • Payouts are triggered automatically within 48 hours of the guest’s check-in date and processed via Stripe or Wise. No invoicing is required on either side.
Curators do not set room rates or manage availability — those are always controlled by the hotelier through their PMS. Curators influence which properties their audience discovers, not how those properties are priced.
