This guide walks property owners through connecting a Mews account to Ddriftt so properties, availability, and bookings stay in sync.

Before you begin

You will need:
  • An active Ddriftt property owner account
  • Admin access to Mews Operations for the enterprise you want to connect
  • Two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled on your Mews Admin user (required to view unmasked access tokens)
  • The Ddriftt integration enabled for your property in the Mews Marketplace

What gets connected

After a successful connection, Ddriftt will:
  • Import your Mews property (or properties) and room categories
  • Sync availability and pricing for booking
  • Create and manage reservations in Mews when guests book on Ddriftt
  • Keep reservation updates and cancellations in sync when Mews notifies Ddriftt

Enable Ddriftt in Mews

1

Sign in to Mews Operations

Sign in to Mews Operations.
2

Open Marketplace

Open the main menu and go to Marketplace.
3

Enable the integration

Find and enable the Ddriftt integration for your property (enterprise).
4

Authorize the connection

Complete any prompts Mews shows to authorize the connection.
If you do not see Ddriftt in Marketplace, contact Ddriftt support. The integration may need to be enabled for your property first.

Copy your Mews Access Token

Ddriftt connects using your Mews Access Token (sometimes labeled Token ID). Mews may also email this token to the integration partner when you subscribe; you can always retrieve it yourself:
1

Open your subscriptions

In Mews Operations, go to Marketplace → My subscriptions.
2

Locate Ddriftt

Locate the Ddriftt integration.
3

Open its settings

Click Edit to open its settings.
4

Reveal the Access Token

Use the control in the top-right of the page to reveal the integration’s Access Token.
5

Copy the token

Copy the full token. Treat it like a password: anyone with it can access your Mews data for this connection.

Property mapping options

Your Mews account represents a single hotel/property. This is the standard setup for most hotels.
One Mews enterprise contains several bookable properties as separate services, and you want each service as its own listing in Ddriftt.
When the connection succeeds, Ddriftt shows that properties are being imported. Import can take a few minutes.
If you are unsure, start with One property per account. If listings look wrong after import, disconnect and contact Ddriftt support before reconnecting. Mapping is locked after the first successful connection.

Review imported properties

1

Open your Properties list

Open your Properties list in Ddriftt.
2

Confirm imported properties and room types

Confirm each expected property and room type appeared.
3

Complete listing details

Complete any Ddriftt listing details that were not imported from Mews (photos, marketing copy, publish settings, and so on).
4

Refresh if needed

If something is missing, return to PMS Connections and click Refresh on the Mews connection card.

Managing the connection

On Account → PMS Connections, each Mews connection card supports:
  • Refresh: re-import properties and room types from Mews
  • Disconnect: stop syncing this Mews connection with Ddriftt
If you reconnect later, you will need a valid Access Token again and must reconfirm the property mapping.

Troubleshooting

Tips for a smooth go-live

  • Keep bookable room categories and public rates configured in Mews before connecting.
  • Only lodging categories (rooms, suites, villas, and similar) are imported. Meeting rooms, parking spaces, and similar non-lodging categories are skipped.
  • After connecting, place a test booking (or use staging guidance from Ddriftt) to confirm availability, pricing, and reservation creation in Mews.
  • Do not share your Access Token outside your team. Rotate/reconnect if it may have been exposed.
