# Book Your Stay Directly on Ddriftt — No OTA Needed

> Book any Ddriftt property without being redirected to a third-party site. Rates are shown upfront, and payment is processed securely through Stripe.

When you book on Ddriftt, you book directly through the platform. There's no redirect to an OTA, no markup added on top of the property's rate, and no middleman between you and the stay. The nightly rate you see on the property page is the rate you pay. Payment is handled securely by Stripe, and your confirmation goes straight to you.

## How to book

    Search by destination, filter by property type, or browse a staylist until you find a stay you want. Open the property page to see the full description, photos, room options, and nightly rate.

  <Step title="Check availability">
    On the property page, click **Check Availability** under the room or suite you want. This opens the availability calendar for that specific room configuration. For example, on Casa no Tempo (Montemor-o-Novo, PT), clicking Check Availability on the "Casa no Tempo (8 Adults)" suite shows you open dates for the full exclusive-use property.

  <Step title="Select your dates and guests">
    Choose your check-in and check-out dates and confirm the number of guests. The total price updates based on your selection.

  <Step title="Review your booking details">
    Before confirming, review the property name, room or suite, dates, guest count, nightly rate, and total. Cancellation policy details are also shown at this stage — read them carefully as they vary by property.

  <Step title="Confirm and pay">
    Enter your payment details and confirm your booking. Stripe processes the payment securely. You'll receive a booking confirmation once payment completes.

## What you need to book

Before you start the booking flow, make sure you have:

* **A Ddriftt account** — sign in or create one at [ddriftt.com/signin](https://ddriftt.com/signin)
* **A valid payment method** — credit or debit card accepted via Stripe
* **Your travel dates and guest count** — some properties have minimum stay requirements or guest limits

## Checking availability on a property

Property pages list all available rooms and suites under the **Rooms & Suites** section. Each option shows a description, guest capacity, and the nightly starting rate.

For example, Casa no Tempo in Montemor-o-Novo, Portugal, offers a single suite configuration:

* **Casa no Tempo (8 Adults)** — 4 spacious suites, walk-in showers, heated clay tile floors, fully equipped marble kitchen, large dining table, lounge with fireplace, and exclusive use of a 400m² pool
* Sleeps up to **8 guests**
* Starting at **EUR €900/night**
* Click **Check Availability** to open the calendar and select your dates

  Larger properties like Casa no Tempo are available as exclusive-use bookings — your group has the entire property to itself. Check each room or suite listing carefully, as a property may offer multiple configurations at different price points and capacities.

## Understanding pricing

Ddriftt shows nightly rates upfront on every property and room card. What you see is what you pay — there are no OTA markups or hidden platform fees added to your total.

A few examples of nightly rates on the platform:

Rates are displayed in the property's local currency. Your card issuer may apply a foreign exchange rate if you're paying in a different currency.

## Payment and confirmation

Ddriftt processes all payments through **Stripe**, a secure, globally trusted payment platform. When you confirm your booking:

1. Stripe charges your card for the total booking amount
2. You receive a booking confirmation by email
3. Your confirmed reservation appears in your Ddriftt account dashboard under **Your Bookings**

Stripe may take several business days to fully settle the transaction, but your booking is confirmed immediately upon successful payment.

## Cancellation policy

  Cancellation policies vary by property. Review the cancellation terms on the booking confirmation screen before you pay — they are not standardised across Ddriftt. Some properties may be non-refundable; others may allow cancellations within a specified window.
