# Properties on Ddriftt: Stays Worth Traveling For

> Properties on Ddriftt are boutique hotels and distinctive stays handpicked for quality. Browse, book direct, and skip the mainstream booking platforms.

Every property on Ddriftt earns its place by being genuinely worth traveling for. You won't find cookie-cutter chain hotels or mass-market resorts here. Instead, you'll find restored family homes in the Portuguese countryside, design-forward boutique hotels in Japan, clifftop hideaways in Greece, and jungle retreats in Mexico — properties chosen because they have a story, a character, and a reason to exist. These are the kinds of places that make the trip.

## What kinds of properties are on Ddriftt?

Ddriftt lists boutique hotels, private villas, and unique stays that stand apart from mainstream travel. The unifying quality is distinctiveness — each property has a point of view, whether that's a commitment to local architecture, an extraordinary natural setting, a connection to food and land, or a design sensibility that makes it unmistakably itself.

You won't find large international hotel chains or generic business hotels on Ddriftt. The platform exists specifically for properties that have been passed over by algorithmic platforms — places that deserve to be discovered through trusted taste, not paid placement.

Properties come from all over the world, with a particular concentration in destination-rich regions including Portugal, Japan, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, and Indonesia. New properties are added through curator relationships and direct partnerships with independent hoteliers.

## What's on a property page?

Every property page on Ddriftt gives you everything you need to make a confident decision:

* **Name and location** — the property name and its exact location (town, region, country).
* **Description** — a detailed account of what makes the property distinctive: its history, architecture, setting, and atmosphere.
* **Rooms and suites** — a breakdown of the accommodation options available, including sleeping capacity, bedroom count, bathroom details, and standout features of each room type.
* **Guest capacity** — total number of guests the property can accommodate.
* **Nightly rate** — the starting price per night, shown in the property's local currency.
* **Availability calendar** — live availability so you can check open dates before you commit.
* **Curated by** — which curators have included this property in their staylists, giving you additional context and social proof from tastemakers you may already follow.

<Tip>
Exclusive boutique properties often have limited availability and small room counts. If a property catches your eye for a specific set of dates, check availability early — many of the most sought-after stays on Ddriftt have only four to eight rooms total.

## How properties are booked

Booking on Ddriftt is direct. When you find a property you want to stay at, you book it right there on the property page — no redirect to an OTA, no bouncing between tabs, no searching for a better rate somewhere else.

Ddriftt connects directly to each property's existing booking infrastructure via their property management system (PMS), so rates and availability are always current. You own your guest relationship with the hotel from the moment you book, and the hotel knows exactly who referred you.

## Example: Casa no Tempo, Portugal

Casa no Tempo in Montemor-o-Novo, Portugal is a restored family home that exemplifies the kind of property you'll find on Ddriftt. The renovation was carried out under the guidance of architect Manuel Aires Mateus, with the surrounding farm, Herdade no Tempo, supplying the property with exceptional local produce.

The property offers exclusive use of the entire house: 4 spacious suites with walk-in showers, handmade tile finishes, and heated clay-tile floors. A fully equipped marble kitchen, a large dining table overlooking a 400 sqm swimming pool, and a luminous lounge with a custom-designed fireplace round out the space. The house sleeps up to 8 guests and starts from EUR €900/night for the whole property.
